Well its late, or early, depends how you see it. Anyway its 2:43 am and I just finished on a 'project' that took me nearly 5 hours to complete. Well I last updated on Saturday last week and since then, nothing much has happened. Had campcraft training almost everyday, was quite okay but not satisfied with our results and we need to train alot harder. First lesson of syllabus B was okay, didn't do much. Achievers programme was boring cos I went alone cos I had no other free days. Friday was kind of interesting. Me, yong bang, wei li, yu xuan, wei geng and jane went for npdp. We left school for deyi and waited for a bus there which took us to chua chu kang home team academy. There we were split up and I went to flag contigent 1 and we just practiced basic drills as a parade for the rest of the training. Yesterday (Saturday technically) Went out with Dinie and Laura, bought a new wallet and 'Ghost Squad' on the Wii which is really cool. Went from HUB to J8 to Northpoint lol, played basketball at the J8 arcade and it bounced off the rim and hit me in the face. Bought woodcraft at Northpoint to play with before going for tuition at Thompson Plaza. Going to sleep, check out the playlist and i FINALLY got around to putting in links, GO ME!!!

Well it's been a busy week full of blood, sweat and tears, but mostly tears. Starting from this week, had campcraft training on monday, rushed after school from my ace learning to attend the campcraft briefing in itlr 1, then carried on with campcraft training. After training, helped the seniors to construct a shelter to ensure we have a good place to practice even when it rains. Injured my left foot after dropping a large wooden pole on it, had to get calvin and ying xin(poh) to push me on a trolley to the np room lol. Next day moved around with a crutch, started soaking firewood, then went to see doctor who wrapped up my foot. Next day was day before the camp, did nothing much during school before going to soak firewood again, tried moving around without crutch with suprising amount of ease. Okay here is the part which is going to be lengthy.
THURSDAY
Class started as normal, quite uneventful, discussed about class drama during ve which i already had the script written out but couldn't on the com so had to make due without it. After school rushed down to NP room to meet siva but he wasn't there so we went to have free lunch before going to meet him. We started working on the campfire structure and went to get the materials(sand, zinc plate, bricks, etc). The tying of the structure was quite fun and the moving of materials damn funny. Due to some INEXPERIENCED workers, tk got injured so he helped with the tying too. Was rushing before we finished cos we thought had little time left but actually after we were done had almost an hour of free time before we started. Didn't take dinner cos wasn't that hungry at the time, proceeded with the start of the campfire. Lighted the torch and handed it to siva to handed it to mdm tong to started the fire, almost burnt my hand there. Due to really bad weather conditions, the fire actually WENT OUT half way so we dipped a cloth in kerosene and wrapped it around a firewood without letting it dry and lit it up. It was freakin big la and it almost burnt my face and hand this time, but once it was thrown in the fire, it was rekindled. After awhile the fire was too strong and used up most of the wood, so we had to improvise using cardboard and the big wooden poles behind the dnt block. Lucky it rained if not we wouldnt be able to keep the fire alive. Went up to the hall for wet weather programme. Because had been busy keeping the fire alive before the rain, suddenly became damn high when the live band was playing. The UGLs at the back kept singing along and started running around in the huge circle in the middle which was damn fun. After that had supper courtesy of Mr Siva at the macs opposite hub, they treated me as a waiter so I didn't take qian huis order in protest haha. After supper attempted to clean up the campfire but the ashes were too hot so we had to wait till morning. Bathed and helped qin jie prepare water bombs for our games station, had to check the water bombs 'stability' so i squeezed them to see if they would leak but they ended up bursting and caused the people near the bucket to get wet lol. Calvin was complaning about a splinter in his finger he got from campfire, so the red cross people, sam and i gathered around him to witness the removal of said splinter. Apparently it was under his skin so it was hard to take out, sam kept talking about the splinter like it was a baby and started talking baby talk to it. I kept asking Calvin to let me remove it for him in one swift powerful squeeze of his finger, but he kept refusing. One of the councillers/red x cadet asked calvin to follow her to use a penknife to slice off the skin and remove the splinter (obviously a joke) and calvin was wondering if she really had a penknife. Eventually it came out but we couldn't tell if it was a splinter or piece of skin.Other UGLs helped move the sofa outside the bookshop into np room for us to sleep haha. (WE DID ALOT OF STUFF IN OTHER UG ROOMS BUT NOT TYPING IT TO AVOID TROUBLE)Played cards in the np room and crapped around. Then went outside to talk with yilin and sam, and thanks to a certain SOMEONE saying a certain SOMETHING to a certain SOMEONE, they started probing me with questions and demanded answers which they eventually received. Time to add 2 to that 4. Went on to talk about other stuff and desmond joined us, they decided to sleep in the parade square so i returned to np room to sleep but calvin was still making noise but eventually we both went to sleep. We crapped alot and joked before sleeping but we eventually did, sleeping at around 4.

FRIDAY
Raynor gave us around 4 or 5 wake up calls but we were both really really tired so calvin asked me to pretend we couldn't hear him. Eventually he sounded really angry and told us that we had 15 minutes left before we had to leave for bishan which was actually a lie but it got us up so meh haha, whatever works i suppose. Didn't have breakfast as had to clean up campfire and then move on to bishan park to set up the stations. Me and qin jie got the best station, the playground! woo hoo! Edna and Yilin the two first aiders stayed with us as our station was supposedly the 'most dangerous' one as the sec 1's had to climb a small rope ladder. We set up the water bombs and buried them under the sand, and 4 guiders had to guide 4 blind people over a pathway of hidden water bombs to get to the other side in fast time. Played with all the things at the playground before the sec 1's arrived, I was playing on a chipmunk bouncy thingy but it was too small so it flung me off and i fell onto the ground which yilin and edna found hilarious. The swings were damn fun but I dunnoe how Edna gets so high on it, say she got someone to push her when there was no one around bleh. Started climbing to the top of the giant rope pyramid so see if the sec 1s were coming as they were quite late. Yong bang and cynthia brought the UGLs breakfast which was bee hoon and doughnuts and stuff which was quite nice. When the sec 1s eventually came me and qinjie took turns lecturing them on how to play the game, suprisingly most of the normal more well behaved than the express, omg what has the express standard dropped to. Had fun getting them to step on bombs and wetting each other, eventually some councillers gathered around our station (the playground is the most fun place in the park) and calvin(ang) did a really funny beatbox. Eventually we finished with all the classes, and waited for other UGLs. Played around at the playground before we went back to school to move back the sand from the campfire to the sand pit and thanks once again to some INEXPERIENCED people, poor geng hiang had to pull the cart full of heavy sand across the whole field. Had the award ceremony and sec 1 and ugl cheers before we filled out some camp reflection sheets. Saw the sec 3s coming back from their camp and their shirt is like so nice la compared to our FUNERAL shirt. Eventually finished up everything and went home where i knocked out straight away. Really had fun in the camp as a whole and don't regret going one bit, will update again 'regularly'(my version), i'm out. damn now its 6, will the number stop growing? Probably not, im too trustful :P

So starting with orientation, sad got quite a number of cock ups but we tried our best and thats what matters, hope the recruitment is okay. These few days have been campcraft training, my hand has become about as smooth as the road surface after pulling so much twine so fast. Sec 1 orientation camp got no tent pitching, sad that they won't get to experience it, but good that NP UGLs have less work to do. Me And Calvin are in charge of the campfire but so far we haven't learnt the structure and calvin has yet to attend one meeting. Tomorrow going bishan park with other UGLs to recce, hope all goes well. Oh and I have to come up with the class skit script again and yet again I have about a week to get it done, wooo. Will update again soon, done for now.
