Well it's been a while since I last blogged, campcraft training, test and other stuff have preoccupied most of my free time. Starting off on a lighter side, we got silver for our 2007 npcc uopa which is like really good so yay! Just summarising the past 2 weeks, auntie fatimahs birthday which was celebrated appropriately, did actual flag drills at NPDP training and CNY of course. School CNY celebration was quite fun, the lion dance was kinda entertaining, so was some parts of the beatbox and dances. The Black Forest band was really good, I really liked them especially that malay guy singing 'Can't help falling in love with you' which was really good. They are so much better than our school bands(not symphonic :P). Went up to class for NE stuff which no one actually cared for then went for reunion lunch/tea with maternal part of the family which was really fun.
Kind of shocking that some people don't really enjoy the company of their cousins and don't talk alot, it's like the complete opposite for me. My maternal side cousins are a blast, despite most of them being in primary school, they kinda act much older than they are which makes them fun to be around. My maternal side older cousins are also great, one's a gamer and the other loves 'Mythbusters', need I say more? So had alot of fun at maternal grandma's house, played some wii with cousins, talked alot, watched tv with them, had lunch and tea, and left for dinner at paternal grandma's house. Despite liking the maternal side cousins, I like my paternal side cousins alot more, they are all extremely fun to be around, a minute almost never goes by without roaring laughter from us, mostly from distasteful jokes and winning each other at DS games and mahjong. Here's one my little 7 year old cousin told me.
Three men and a captain were on a boat. A russian, a chinese and an english. The russian was sent by the captain to gather weapons for the boat, the english was sent to get food and the chinese was sent to get supplies. Eventually the russian and the english returned but the chinese was nowhere to be found. The english was then sent to look for the chinese man. After a bit of walking, the chinese man jumped out in front of the english and said 'SUPPLIES!(SURPRISE!)
Haha kids now adays. Cracked alot of jokes and played like 4 days of straight mahjong. Lessons learnt 1. Vodka goes great with anything 2. Wine goes great with anything 3. Alcoholic champagne goes great with anything 4. Anything containing alcohol goes great with anything 5. Mahjong goes great with alcohol
Played abit of blackjack too, didn't bet any large amounts of money though. Well CNY was fun and I'll miss it because my relatives are just that much fun, which is kinda untrue for the rest of you, sorry.
Since CNY was over nothing much has been happening. Mdm chong injured her back, despite her nagging us, she is still a really good teacher, hope she recovers as painlessly and quickly as possible. Went Achievers programme on Tuesday and did maths with calvin, amelia, pying xin, sandy and justine. Today nothing much with syllabus b. Well going to sleep soon, remember to check back every week or so just to see I haven't updated.
